Who this notice covers
This notice applies when you use devig.ai, create a DeviG AI account, talk with the AI companion, use journals or memory, or participate in community features. DeviG AI is the controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@devig.ai.
The service is currently for adults aged 18 and over.
Data we process
- Account data, including your email address, display name, and verification status.
- Content you choose to provide, including chats, journals, memories, goals, habits, profile details, community posts, groups, and events.
- Service and security data needed to authenticate requests, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect accounts.
- Your settings, privacy choices, and account deletion request.
Sensitive information
Conversations and journals may contain health, relationship, sex-life, belief, or other sensitive information. DeviG processes this information only when you choose to provide it and only to deliver the feature you requested, maintain your chosen memory, protect safety, or meet legal obligations.
You can remove individual memories and conversations, export your data, or request account deletion from Settings. You may withdraw your consent for optional sensitive-data processing by deleting that content or contacting us.
How AI processing works
To generate a response, DeviG sends your message, limited recent conversation context, the selected companion mode, and relevant user-controlled memories to the configured AI model provider. Google Gemini is the current live provider. Urgent safety and adult-mode gating can be handled locally before a model request is made.
DeviG does not sell private content and does not use it to train a DeviG-owned model at this stage. Model providers process requests under their own service terms and data protections. Do not share information you do not want processed by the selected model.
Why we use data
- To create and secure your account and provide the features you request.
- To save content and preferences when you ask us to remember them.
- To operate safety controls, prevent misuse, and investigate service failures.
- To send essential verification, recovery, and account emails.
- To comply with law and protect users, the service, and others.
Service providers and transfers
DeviG currently uses Supabase for authentication and database services, Vercel for hosting, Resend for transactional email, and Google Gemini for live AI responses. These providers may process data in countries outside your own. We select provider settings intended for secure business processing and will update this notice when the production provider set changes.
Retention and control
Account content is retained while your account is active or until you delete it, subject to limited backups, security records, legal duties, and provider retention. Conversation history and saved memories remain under your account until removed.
Settings includes data export and a reversible account-deletion request. For urgent access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or consent questions, contact hello@devig.ai.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We will verify requests before acting to protect your account.
